Noida, July 2025: The prestigious AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films, now in its record-breaking 124th edition, is set to be held on 23rd July 2025 at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. This remarkable achievement underscores the unwavering commitment of Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) to promote global short filmmaking and young creative talent. The festival is presented by International Film and Television Club.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Founder-President of AAFT and the visionary behind the festival, proudly announced, “This is the only film festival in the world that takes place four times a year, and we have been conducting it continuously for the past 32 years. With over 3600 short films directed by filmmakers from across the globe, the festival has evolved into a significant platform for emerging and independent voices in cinema.”
The AAFT Festival of Short Digital Films is not only a celebration of creativity but also a global landmark in film culture. Its unmatched consistency and impact have been officially recognized by the World Book of Records, London, which has certified the festival as a World Record holder for being the longest-running quarterly short film festival in the world.
