Austrian Delegation Participates in Media & Entertainment Summit at Marwah Studios
Noida: A distinguished delegation from Austria participated in the Media & Entertainment Summit organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida. The summit witnessed highly engaging discussions and productive interactions aimed at strengthening creative and business collaborations between India and Austria.
The event was graciously supported by the Indo-Austria Film and Cultural Forum and Embassy of Austria, further reinforcing cultural and professional ties between the two nations.
The Austrian delegation included prominent professionals and industry leaders such as Paul Bock; Darshna Katkoria; Maximilian Jakob Maag; Georg Molzer; Felix Oncken; Ram Vinay Pandey; Viktor Wagner; Alexander Windberger; Ajay Singh; and Oscar Ritter, along with other esteemed members including Sravani Thota, Gunther Herbsthofer, Susanne Ebner-Mayer, Johannes Pröll, Thomas Kendöl, and Armin Josef Dax-Sinkovits.
Addressing the gathering, Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, spoke extensively on the growing scope of Indo-Austrian relations, particularly in the fields of media, entertainment, and creative industries. He emphasized the importance of international collaboration in fostering innovation, cultural exchange, and sustainable business growth.
“India and Austria share a strong foundation of cultural and creative synergy. There is immense potential to collaborate in media, films, education, and technology-driven creative businesses, which can lead to mutually beneficial growth and deeper international engagement,” said Dr. Marwah.
Members of the delegation also shared their perspectives, highlighting opportunities for partnerships, innovation, and cross-border investments. The interactive session opened new avenues for collaboration and strengthened the commitment to enhancing bilateral relations through art, culture, and industry.
Later Dr Marwah presented mementos and a copy of his biography to the digniteries from Austria. The summit concluded on a positive note, with both sides expressing enthusiasm for future collaborations and continued engagement in the creative and entertainment sectors.
