Comoros-Inspired Collection by Anshika Chaudhary Shines at 10th Global Fashion & Design Week Noida 2026
Noida, India: The spirit of the Union of Comoros came alive in an exquisite showcase by designer Anshika Chaudhary at the prestigious 10th Global Fashion and Design Week Noida 2026, held at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The event was presented in association with the AAFT School of Fashion and Design and the AAFT School of Interior Design, drawing global attention for its celebration of culture, creativity, and international collaboration.
The collection, inspired by the serene beauty and cultural richness of Comoros, stood out for its poetic elegance and thoughtful design philosophy. Conceived around the idea that “light doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful,” the garments reflected the tranquility of quiet mornings, soft shadows, and inner peace. Flowing silhouettes, breathable fabrics, and subtle earthy tones created an effortless harmony—each piece radiating understated sophistication without excess or artifice.
Addressing the audience, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President, AAFT, emphasized the importance of cultural exchange through fashion, stating that platforms like Global Fashion & Design Week continue to strengthen global unity and creative dialogue.
The showcase was also part of the grand celebration of Asian Unity Day on 2nd April, organized by the Asian Unity Alliance, reinforcing the message of harmony and collaboration across nations. The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) hosted distinguished guests from across India and abroad, including ambassadors, high commissioners, and diplomats, making it a truly global gathering.
Dr. K. L. Ganju, Hon. Consul General of the Union of Comoros, lauded the collection and the event, appreciating the sensitive portrayal of Comorian culture through contemporary fashion. The event received strong support from the Indo Comoros Film and Cultural Forum, further strengthening the cultural ties between India and Comoros.
This remarkable presentation not only highlighted emerging design talent but also reaffirmed fashion as a powerful medium of storytelling, cultural diplomacy, and international unity.
