Edinburgh, Scotland – In a remarkable display of cultural diplomacy and national pride, Dr. Sandeep Marwah—Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University—was invited as a special guest to the prestigious Viksit Bharat @2047 Conclave, held at the Scottish Parliament and Edinburgh City Chambers. The conclave brought together influential leaders, entrepreneurs, and dignitaries from both India and Scotland to discuss collaborative growth and a shared vision for a progressive India.
The event also served as a powerful platform to further strengthen India–Scotland relations, with a focus on trade, education, and cultural exchange. Addressing a captivated audience, Dr. Marwah delivered a rousing keynote, marked by his characteristic energy, clarity, and conviction. He urged the diaspora and international community to channel their patriotism beyond symbolic celebrations and instead contribute meaningfully to India’s progress through innovation, entrepreneurship, and global advocacy. “The real celebration of patriotism is in expanding your ventures, uplifting your professions, and becoming global brand ambassadors for a new India,” said Dr. Marwah passionately.
In his capacity as Chairman of the Indo-UK Film and Cultural Forum, Dr. Marwah also highlighted the immense potential of art and culture as bridges of friendship between nations. He advocated for deeper collaboration between Indian and Scottish creative industries—film, television, fashion, performing arts—to foster unity, talent exchange, and mutual prosperity.
The conclave was a part of the larger Viksit Bharat @2047 vision—a national movement initiated by the Government of India aimed at transforming the country into a fully developed nation by its centenary year of independence.
Dr. Marwah’s address was met with overwhelming appreciation, with many attendees praising his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to cultural diplomacy. His presence reaffirmed the role of global Indian icons in building strong international alliances in the run-up to India@100.
