Grand Closing of 14th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2026 Marks a Historic Milestone

Noida: The 14th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2026 concluded on a grand and inspiring note at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, reaffirming its status as the biggest journalism festival in Asia and second in the world. The festival brought together eminent journalists, media professionals, diplomats, academicians, and students from across the globe for meaningful dialogue, knowledge exchange, and celebration of media excellence.
Addressing the distinguished gathering, Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the International Journalism Centre, elaborated on the journey and achievements of the festival. He proudly announced that 12th February will be observed as International Day of Journalism, marking a historic step in recognizing the role of journalism in strengthening democracy and global communication.
Dr. Marwah highlighted that the International Journalism Centre is a powerful body representing more than 50,000 professional media persons worldwide. He emphasized that AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication stands among the finest media institutions globally, offering world-class infrastructure and hands-on training facilities. “We are fully equipped in Print, Radio, Television, and New Media. Our aim is to provide global standards of education at the most cost-effective structure,” he stated.
The closing ceremony was graced by several eminent personalities including Ahmad Ansari, Communication Leader and CSR Strategist; Aditi Rajput, Deputy Editor & Anchor at NDTV; Vivek Anand, Prime Time Anchor at Republic Bharat; Kumar Rakesh, Senior Journalist; Dr. Neeraj A. Sharma, Consul General of the Republic of Palau; Pradeep K. Chandel, National President of AHPWI; Sanjay Singh, Senior Resident Editor of Lok Satya Dainik; S. N. Sinha, Veteran Indian Photojournalist and former Photo Editor of Hindustan Times; and Atul Garg, Member of Parliament.
The festival featured seminars, workshops, masterclasses, and interactive sessions covering emerging trends in journalism, media ethics, fake news awareness, AI in media, and the future of digital storytelling. Students of AAFT School of Journalism and Mass Communication actively participated and showcased exceptional talent, earning appreciation from the dignitaries present.
The 14th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2026 once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening the pillars of responsible journalism, international cooperation, and media education. The closing ceremony concluded with a renewed pledge to continue promoting ethical journalism and global media harmony.
