Noida, India – The Indo-Kyrgyzstan Film and Cultural Forum, in association with the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in India, played a dynamic role in enriching the 9th Global Fashion and Design Week (GFDW) Noida 2025, held at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. Recognized globally as the largest fashion week ever organized by an academic institution, GFDW 2025 once again proved to be a milestone of excellence in fashion, innovation, and cultural exchange.
The grand event was organized under the visionary leadership of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) Fashion Committee, and strongly supported by the AAFT School of Fashion and Design and the AAFT School of Interior Designing. With over 200 celebrated designers, 550 original garments, and 125 unique interior design installations, the week-long extravaganza brought together global voices in creativity and culture.
Across 9 vibrant shows, 90 fashion rounds, 6 curated exhibitions, and 9 international culinary experiences, the festival created a truly immersive global journey. Live broadcasts on MSTV, Radio Noida, and extensive coverage by over 600 international media houses elevated the event to a new level of international prominence.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo-Kyrgyzstan Film and Cultural Forum, addressed the gathering with passion and purpose. “Fashion is a living expression of a nation’s culture. Through our Indo-Kyrgyzstan Forum, we are showcasing the spiritual and aesthetic richness of Kyrgyzstan on an international stage. It is a celebration of identity, craftsmanship, and global friendship,” he stated.
As a distinguished cultural partner, the Indo-Kyrgyzstan Film and Cultural Forum made a striking impact with a stunning fashion collection that paid tribute to the cultural and artistic heritage of Kyrgyzstan. The collection, inspired by the grandeur of Bishkek’s Central Mosque and the intricate patterns of Tush Kiyiz embroidery, captured the spiritual grace and artisanal elegance of Kyrgyz traditions.
The garments featured party wear gowns crafted in luxurious Armani silk, adorned with traditional chain stitch embroidery in hues of royal blue, ivory white, radiant gold, and earthy brown. These contemporary silhouettes seamlessly married heritage and haute couture, embodying Kyrgyz identity with sophistication and timeless beauty.
In addition to fashion, the forum presented a furniture piece inspired by Kyrgyz culture, which was displayed in the interior design exhibition. The piece drew from the geometric motifs and craftsmanship deeply rooted in Kyrgyz nomadic artistry, reinforcing the nation’s cultural presence beyond the runway.
The participation of the Indo-Kyrgyzstan Forum once again highlighted the power of creative diplomacy—using fashion and design as instruments of cross-cultural understanding. It also underscored GFDW’s mission to promote global unity through art, fashion, and tradition.
