New Delhi: Indo–Trinidad & Tobago relations were significantly strengthened with the activation of a comprehensive strategic roadmap, culminating in the presentation of Patronship to His Excellency Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The honour was conferred during a humble yet meaningful ceremony held at the High Commission of Trinidad and Tobago, reaffirming shared values of cultural diplomacy, people-to-people ties, and creative collaboration.
Addressing the gathering, Sandeep Marwah, President of International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), highlighted the growing momentum in Indo–Trinidad & Tobago cooperation. He emphasized that the newly outlined roadmap focuses on cinema, media, education, culture, and institutional exchanges, aiming to build long-term partnerships and mutual growth. Dr. Marwah noted that cultural and creative industries serve as powerful bridges between nations and ICMEI remains committed to nurturing these connections with sincerity and purpose.
Accepting the Patronship, Chandradath Singh, High Commissioner of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, expressed his appreciation for the initiative and the honour bestowed upon him. He acknowledged the importance of structured engagement and welcomed deeper collaboration between the two countries, particularly in the fields of culture, education, and creative industries, which resonate strongly with the shared heritage and contemporary aspirations of both nations.
On the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah also presented two of his books to His Excellency, symbolizing the exchange of knowledge, culture, and ideas—an enduring hallmark of diplomatic friendship.
