Lebanon-Inspired Collection Shines at 10th Global Fashion and Design Week at Marwah Studios

Noida, India: The 10th Global Fashion and Design Week, hosted at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida, witnessed a captivating presentation during Day 1 | 3rd Show | Sequence 3, as designers Anjali, Rashmi Pal, and Tanu Rawat presented a stunning collection inspired by the cultural richness of Lebanon.

Organized by the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) in association with AAFT School of Fashion and Design, the grand fashion showcase was part of the celebrations of Asian Unity Day on 2nd April, an initiative of the Asian Unity Alliance. The event brought together creative minds, diplomats, and fashion enthusiasts from across the globe, highlighting unity through art, culture, and design.

The Lebanon-themed collection stood out for its unique interpretation of a nation known for its deep-rooted history and cosmopolitan outlook. Drawing inspiration from Lebanon’s vibrant heritage, the designers skillfully blended traditional aesthetics with contemporary fashion sensibilities. The collection featured a harmonious mix of structured forms and fluid silhouettes, symbolizing strength, grace, and timeless elegance.

The garments reflected a fusion of diverse cultural influences, intricate detailing, and modern craftsmanship, capturing the spirit of a country where past and present coexist beautifully. Each ensemble told a story of resilience, creativity, and artistic expression.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Brand Ambassador of BRICS+ Fashion, appreciated the designers for their innovative approach. He stated that such presentations not only promote global fashion but also strengthen cultural diplomacy by bringing nations closer through creative collaboration.

The event was supported by the Indo-Lebanon Film & cultural Forum, further reinforcing the bond between the two nations through fashion and art.
