New Delhi / Noida: In a momentous stride toward strengthening cultural diplomacy and bilateral cooperation, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Founder of ICMEI – International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, presented the Patronship of the Indo Cyprus Film and Cultural Forum to a high-level delegation from the Republic of Cyprus.
The distinguished delegation included: Mr. Nicos Tornaritis, Member of Parliament & Representative of the Democratic Rally Party, Mr. Aristos Damianou, Member of Parliament & Representative of the AKEL Left New Forces Party, Ms. Christiana Erotokritou, Member of Parliament & Representative of the Democratic Party, Ms. Marina Adamidou, Director, International Relations Service, Ms. Gabriella Marangou, Senior International Relations Officer
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of H.E. Annita Demetriou, President of the House of Representatives, Cyprus Parliament, and H.E. Evagoras Vryonides, High Commissioner of Cyprus to India and Heraklitos Iosifides, Deputy Head of the Mission.
Dr. Marwah warmly acknowledged the significance of the Cyprus delegation’s visit, emphasising the power of cultural alliances in bridging nations. The Patronship signifies a renewed commitment to expanding cooperation in cinema, media, arts, culture, education, and people-to-people exchanges between India and Cyprus.
