Sandeep Marwah Honoured by Ambassador of Panama for His Outstanding Contribution to India–Panama Cultural Relations

Noida, In a prestigious ceremony held at Marwah Studios, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum (IPFCF), was honoured by H.E. Alonso Correa Miguel, the Hon’ble Ambassador of Panama to India, in recognition of his six years of tireless dedication towards strengthening Indo–Panama relations through art, culture, and media.

The felicitation took place during the grand celebration of 32 years of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC) and the commencement of the 125th batch of the Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) at Noida Film City. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Kalraj Mishra, the 44th Governor of Rajasthan, and Emile Mwepesi, Second Counsellor at the High Commission of Rwanda, alongside a large gathering of national and international dignitaries, media professionals, and students.

While presenting the Certificate of Honour to Dr. Marwah, Ambassador Alonso Correa Miguel remarked, “Dr. Sandeep Marwah’s sincerity and commitment toward fostering cultural diplomacy between Panama and India cannot be measured by awards alone. This gesture is merely a symbol of our deep appreciation for his six years of impactful efforts in bringing our two nations closer through the medium of art, cinema, and cultural exchange.”

In his response, Dr. Sandeep Marwah expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, “It is an honour to be recognized by the Ambassador of Panama. This award is not just a personal milestone, but a celebration of the collective spirit of cooperation and friendship that IPFCF has nurtured over the years. I am thankful for the trust and collaboration extended by the Embassy of Panama, and I dedicate this honour to our shared vision of global cultural unity.”

The Indo Panama Film and Cultural Forum, initiated by ICMEI in collaboration with the Embassy of Panama, has been one of the most active international cultural forums, conducting over 25 programs that highlight cinematic, educational, and cultural synergies between the two nations.
